Have you seen a monkey as small as your open palm?

We have it in Bohol.
The grade one teacher of our 6-year old granddaughter, Inday Sophie is in Bohol for a week long seminar/workshop in related to her teaching.
It's her first visit to the island of Bohol which is known by her chocolate hills and tarsier, one of the smallest monkey in the world. It measures about 9–16 cm (3.5–6 inches) long, excluding a tail of about twice that length. According to zoologist, it's a combination of a lemur and a monkey.
I haven't gone to Bohol yet.

I saw one such small monkey in Singapore zoo but can't remember clearly if it was the same name. It was little like palm size and looked more like squirrels. Very cute!

I also have visited Bohol a long time ago I think it was 2005 I last visited the place. I think it is a nice place to visit. One of the main attraction there is the Tarsier which is exclusive to that place and they are really awesome to see them in their natural state. They are quite peaceful animals and rely on insects as their food source.

@Nakitakona oh I thought you have seen one. They are cute but did not touch them since it could stress them out.

@rsa101 In picture yes I have but personally I haven't. Visitors aren't allowed to touch those tarsiers or even offering them foods to eat.

@Nakitakona there was a typhoon coming so we cancelled our Bohol trip. My wife's sister is fond of vacationing in provinces and they usually invite us.

They should be protected as they are becoming extinct.

They are protected by law. That's why they're being preserved.

Yes you said it right. They're well protected, well conserved to live. There's a law that ensures their safety from the abusers.
