Badass millennial women!

Yup, I did find that time to watch Charlie's Angels 2019. Having spent my teen-age Saturday nights with the charming faces of the angels, it is imperative for me to see how women have metamorphosed from glamorous and sexy angels to millennial badass. Two of the angels - Kirsten Stewart's and Ella Balinska's acting were a revelation. Gosh, these ladies are no damsels in distress. They are badasses. Magnificent action! Naomi Scott, however, is a little dainty, leaving the audience wanting for more definitive moves. It's not a Disney movie. I will refrain from spoiling more. The millennial generation does not take well to spoilers. Suffice it to say that the movie is enjoyable, very much, but nothing beats the original.

Just like the Hawaii 5-O new version, I guess the Charlie's Angels will have a different persona for their lead characters.

Ooops, I haven't seen the Hawaii Five Ohhh. Will check the movie on netflix. Yes, I like that television series, too, albeit I was just a kid and didn't understand yet the stories.

The current plot is totally millennial. The movie even suggested the generation thing. Have fun. It's a fascinating movie in the sense that women have come to terms with their capabilities and assert their skills and intelligence.

I wish I could have added more criticism, but the millennials will attack me, ha ha. They don't like spoilers, and they watch the movies on the first day, to avoid that. But I will add here that Charlie's Angels utilized a time tested formula with a double twist. Brilliant.

Charlie's Angels subliminally brought about the confidence in women, an affirmation that they could be who they want to be. Now, the women are empowered. Wow. Do enjoy the movie.
