Nine residents of the Sonora House which is a home care facility in Stockton California are thankful that maintenance employee Clarence Calhoun was on duty when a fire broke out in the garage around 1:30am on Thursday. Since most of the residents were asleep or were not able to walk away from the fire due to their physical handicaps since all of the residents are over the age of 60 years, Clarence was their only person that could save them from perishing in the fire. Clarence was able to go to all of the rooms that were occupied by a resident by escorting them out of the burning building before the firefighters arrived to douse the fire by making several trips inside the building. After the fire was doused by the firefighters, the cause of the fire will be investigated by the authorities to determine the cause of the fire that damaged the building which will require the residents of the facility to find temporary home provided by the American Red Cross. All of the residents are thankful that Clarence was their savior on that fateful evening in Stockton.

That is true since it took a lot of courage to enter the rooms of the residents to get them out of the danger zone in time.

@Deepizzaguy I totally agree. I don't think I would have the guts to do that.
