I Opened My Mouth...

Hello, fellow mylotters Hope all is well. I've been busy taking care of Pandora (our dog), processing what tomatoes I did get out of the garden (to make room in our freezer for the deer that people are giving us.) Anyway, back to the topic at hand I'd like to point out some things about first though. Usually I don't fall into gossip and there are a lot of my opinions that I keep to myself until that "one" button is pushed. Also, my mother-in-law doesn't like me and she has said things to my husband (her son) that my husband didn't approve of, so I keep my distance with her, even though she is one of our neighbors. With that being known, I will share my story. I had to go to our local grocery store for a few things that I needed. There was a gentleman that we bought a "lemon" vehicle from that was in the store and was ahead of me with a few items and apparently he had a problem with them and he was wanting to get them for a cheaper price. In fact one of the owners who was checking him out stated "that he was a swindler." Of course I had to admit that "yeah, we had dealings with him purchasing a vehicle." She asked if after buying the vehicle, he wanted it back like my mother-in-law. Instead of just keeping my mouth shut I stated "we paid for this vehicle unlike the mother-in-law. She got him some how to give her the title of the trike (motorcycle) that she was making payments on and once she got the title, she quit making payments! He tried to get the trike back (repossess it)but he gave her the title before she finished paying for it." I also went on to tell her that this wasn't the first time she had done that. In fact when we first moved here, she was in the process of buying a motor home, once again she got the lady to give her the title, before the motor home was completely paid for." I know I should have kept my mouth shut, but I think people should be weary of her and to know the truth about her. Luckily, I only let her know about those two situations, I could have went on and on!! Do you know some one like this and you just feel people should know the truth about them? ~Peace~
