This is totally mind-boggling. A Korean choir sings 'Bayan Ko.' Bayan Ko is the Filipinos' fight song, or a battle cry song. We sing the song when we are oppressed, or persecuted. Bayan Ko is a declaration of love and patriotism for our motherland - the Republic of the Philippines. Why are Koreans singing it?

The song is very beautiful but only the Filipinos are meant to sing it.

I don't know why they chose to sing it.

Am still wondering. There has been an in flock of Koreans since 2012, if I remember right. Perhaps they sang the song as a hint as to where their people go. South Korea was in turmoil then, with North Korea threatening them. They've shaken hands last year, I think.

Is it illegal to be sung by another nationality?

Would you profess love and patriotism to my country, because that is what the song says. And when invaders come, would you give your life for the Philippines?
