I love this meme and quote by Vince Lombardi:
"Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."
Even though perfection is not possible, when you work towards it, you're likely to accomplish something great! Words to live by. It could also mean don't give up on your dreams. Even though you might not get exactly what you want, you could get something really terrific by trying.

Not only was the man a great coach, but he was also a great motivator. He has many great sayings that still have weight and merit even in today's world.

There's only one perfect person. As we are created in His likeness and image we have a chance to be one but since He is the only perfect being, what we will achieve is being excellent.

My band teacher taught us "perfect practice makes perfect" instead of practice makes perfect. Because when you are already striving for the best, the best will come out of you and it will be even better than expected.
