Good Morning My Fellow Mylotters 11-21-19

Good morning everyone. It was a rough day and night yesterday but I got through it. I will never understand why people feel the need to get a dog or breed one, then just let them go. We had a puppy show up in our yard not yesterday but the day before. If she was more than six months old I would have been shocked. All she wanted was love but I couldn't bring her in the house. So I felt horrible all night and I really wanted to keep her. In the end we had to put up an ad in our facebook page about finding her a home. Thankfully we found a nice couple that fell totally in love with her. I was happy to see her go to a good home but I actually wanted to keep her. Financially I just couldn't though and everyone knew it. After that I kind of just went off the grid. I got a little more writing done so I was glad for that. I blended what I had written in a notebook with what I already had and it worked out well. Today I'm not sure what I feel like doing. I may try to write and I am definitely going to read a little later. I still feel like I need to just keep my mind occupied. What's everyone else up to today? *picture I colored*

@JordanLader I understand what you are saying. I wonder that here in Israel when I see those paying more attention to their phone than their dog when they are suppose to be out walking them. The poor puppy. It was not your fault you could not bring her inside. I understand that it was hard for you to give the puppy to someone else because it was hard for you to keep her.

@JordanLader I know what you mean. I hate to see the stray animals wandering around in the winter and looking for shelter. A dream I have but so far has not come true is a building all year round for the strays and they would not have to be out in the summer or in the winter and would have a warm place to lay their heads and have enough food and water. That is a dream that I cannot afford so I just dream about it.

@Hannihar I wanted to put like a kennel up where I was going to put my library. My parents were worried though that if we did that we'd be inviting the fleas and ticks closer to the house and may hurt our dog. I guess it's true. We do have to think about our dog first and she's getting older. We've already been told she'll have to have another surgery on her leg eventually

We get between 1-4 dogs dropped off her a year. Every year they seem to get younger and it just sucks. If I could save them all I would. This one was hard because she was just a little ball of fluff. So adorable.

That breaks my heart to read! Poor pup. All things are good over here, just exercising a bit before work.

I wish people would take better care of their animals. It seems the ones finding their way to us are getting younger and younger. We're a great drop off location and it sucks. I cry every time.
