I wonder what happened to Cadet Calvin Cox?

Calvin Cox was a Cadet at West Point Military Academy in the year 1950. He signed himself out to have dinner with an acquaintance on January 14,1950 and was never heard from again.
The acquaintance may have been a man by the name of George. Peter Hains, was charge of quarters in B-2, the living / sleeping quarters that were assigned to Calvin Cox. Hains reported that a man, possibly by the name of George (though he may have mixed it up with another callers name) called asking for Cadet Cox. The man sounded patronizing, rough and almost insulting. He identified himself as being someone Cox knew from Germany.
A man did arrive one evening and Cox went with the man, supposedly to a dinner. However, when he returned he confessed to his bunkmates that he had not ate, but rather drank with the man in his car. He'd later recount some of the stories the man (possibly George) had told him (Cadet Cox). These stories were gruesome, and later Cox would be remembered as saying he hoped he wouldn't see the man again.
However, he did end up seeing the man again, signing himself out a final time, never to be seen again. It is believed that he had dined with this "George" fellow again, but the description of the man seen leaving with Cox is different from the description of the man before.
I'll let you (if you want) read more of it here :
(The above was my own summary based off of the link, that gives more info)

I'll admit that I skimmed through it and stopped reading when it came to the real investigation part of it. This "George" guy had apparently (atleast from what his bunkmates recalled Cox saying) liked killing the Germans in the war, and had even knocked a German woman up and killed her so that she wouldn't have his baby.

@thislittlepennyearns We have some German on my grandfather's mother's side but I think they immigrated back in the 1700's...

@ScribbledAdNauseum Well that's special. My grandpa was full blood German. So a lot of that German history stuff is really interesting to me.

Yes, I thought so too. I think the man must have killed him, or else caused him to be killed. It seems this man had a thirst for blood.

The "Gruesome" things I read, yeah I think he probably had a few screws loose to be honest.

I feel sorry for the guy, because it sounds as if he realized that his old friend wasn't a good man, and yet he felt he couldn't say no to another outing with him.
