power pardon wand

Well, I tuned in to the Impeachment Inquiry Hearings and regardless of the "end of the matter", I feel blessed to have some of those career people like Fiona Hill, etc. serving our country. I understand Ms. Hill resigned but she has no way stopped serving this nation. I understand that several people ignored a Congressional subpoena to appear and be questioned. I understand and this is not a matter that is in DISPUTE! … I understand the people were directed by our president to IGNORE the subpoena. I don't know why but I always believed that people could get into a lot of trouble for ignoring a subpoena. But hey! I'm just an AAC (average American citizen). What do I know? Of course, even if these people did get into trouble for ignoring the subpoena they have NO WORRIES. WHY? Well because our president can just wave the magic Power Pardon wand and all of their troubles will disappear. I mean … LOOK! … Not One. Not Two. But there were Three veterans who were charged or disciplined for COMMITTING WAR CRIMES. POTUS just waved his PP wand and … Poof! Abracadabra! * * * The title of the article in the Washington Post says "Ill-Advised pardons". So my question is: WHO advised him to do this? OR Did the POTUS just listen to the voices in his head and make this decision? * * * That's just a side-thought. My main thought is: Anybody who defies the law or breaks the law following the instruction or direction of the president has nothing to worry about. He has a magic Power Pardon wand to make any of their worries an troubles disappear. It's just an observation from a distance. Maybe that's not what it. But that's what it LOOK LIKE! * * *
The president’s actions encourages the view that veterans are somehow “broken.”

The House of Reps just wasted a ton of your money and my money for nothing. A witch hunt which got swept under the rug. Pityful. I hope everyone of them get voted out next time they are up for re-election.

Hmmm? Well since we're thinking about it ... I wouldn't mind clearing out both House and Senate, the President and his Cabinet, and the Supreme Court Justices. Maybe we shouldn't touch the top brazz in the military. After all, they have been facing off with our real enemies in mortal combat for a very long time. But as for the other folks in civilian governement, sometimes it's a good thing to start from scratch with "new blood". Get fresh ideas and new perspectives and people who are Netzens, born in the generation that actually understands how technology works. People over the age of 40 but under the age of 50. Eh! OK. We could leave a few of the old folks in their positions. There's a lot to be said for people who have historical reference points and corporate memory, about "the way things were". They're good for offering contrasting points of view.

I've lived long enough to believe it's happening. It's very scary.
