Lost another tooth

Last night I was eating a casserole I made with mashed potatoes, beef, onion and cheese. Not anything that required much if any chewing. My back tooth fell out as I was eating. It came without any pain. I lose many teeth that way. Not that I don't take care of my teeth, I do, but a certain medication I've taken since childhood depletes the calcium in my bones, making me a high risk for osteoperosis. Over the years my teeth have softened tremendously and they break apart and come out in pieces. What this means for me is a trip to the dentist to have the root removed.

I take a medication once weekly that is supposed to strengthen my bones. I also take a calcium and vitamin D supplement daily. I hope it gets better too.

Dental work is something I dread. I don´t care for the pain, but I don´t trust dentists.

Dentists are the worst kind of vampires. If they know you have insurance, they'll drain an entire years worth in two days!

Oh no I'm so sorry, have you thought about getting implants for your teeth?

Not implants but I have had a number of partial plates over the years. Whenever I lose another tooth I got to get another plate.
