It has been weeks since I posted an update; and I'm sorry to say that nothing further has been done. My husband wants to go to the other house first to check on things before we have someone empty it out; but he hasn't gone over there. The ceilings and the wall still need to be repaired.
He needs to realize that now since we have that expensive insurance, the insurance company will be looking for the first opportunity to cancel it if the house looks vacant and unkempt.
This is on my mind constantly.

This is the house we used to live in and had rented out. We want to sell it now; but there are repairs that need to be done; and it needs to be emptied out -- the tenant left a lot of furniture, etc.

I have often threatened my husband that I will get him moving with a stick of dynamite. (Yes it's a joke. Perhaps you could say we'll go to the house and then to Walmart. (Oh I sound lame.)

lol That's funny! I can't get around very well; so it's up to him to get over to the house NOW! Sigh.

It's getting him up and out of his chair to do something. If it's going to Walmart, he's all over that and loves to shop and run errands just to get out; but to get him to go over to the other house is like pulling teeth. Sigh.

You will have to do something to appease the insurance company.

Yes, or we will lose that insurance too.
