Had a lovely evening letting my hair down and dancing my heart out. It was a classmate's birthday and she flew from downunder to treat us an Spellbound performance. Whoaaa. Super. I was transported back in High School, when dance party was the only event outside school activities. Oh boy, we sure can dance. Oh well, there was a lack of dance partners, the young men at the other table were coy. But we did hit the dance floor, swinging with Spellbound.

Those " Hot Dog" songs propelled me back in time too the original hot dog band members came from my highschool Alma Mater. I agree, discos were our main form of entertainment outside of school back then.

Oh really?! Wow, your school did something good, for tickling the imagination of Hotdog's musical genius. Galing. Disco nights, as far as we're concerned, were held in our homes. Good thing my Richie Rich classmates had salas big enough for dancing. We just put up the strobe lights and concocted our own punches. Invited our male counterpart from the nearby boys' school.

@eileenleyva another thing is we were forced to do " stay in " dancing parties because of the martial law curfew from 12pm to 4 am in the early 80s we also hanged out in classy disco places like " where else?" And " altitude 49 " yeah just buy one expensive drink and use the place to dance and party forever

I did, thank you. It was a once in a real blue moon reunion gig. Disco has been a thing of the past. But dancing to the old tunes was really a blast.

@LindaOHio Yes, yes. We danced the LA Walk and the Swing. The Rock, too. Very enjoyable.
