Flu shot

This morning my wife and I got a flu shot from our Barangay clinic. This is the 2nd time we have after three years. We don't question why it takes too long to get another shot. What important is we have it today. Inspite of the heavy rain in the morning, many senior citizens are coming over to receive their flu immunization too.

You know what...I haven't had a flu shot since 2003. I got sick that first time and swore off it. I drink garlic tabs and eat raw garlic and take vitamin c too. I'm ok.

We never get flu too. But since the surroundings couldn't guarantee the healthful atmosphere it's better to get a protection.

@Nakitakona Ok. But I take the holistic way for protection, like garlic tabs, vitamin c. But I do get some vaccination like hep b and tetanus. Did you hear on the news about the measles outbreak in the Pacific on the news? I got this vaccination when I was a child, so I'm not too worried. Where it's happening is American Samoa and Tonga. So CDC is watching the neighboring countries for any outbreaks as well.

Do you notice a difference between when you get the flu shot and when you don't?

I think flu shot and vaccines are free in the public health centers.

You're right. So we take the opportunity while there's still a supply.
