A 15 year old student saves the lives of a mom and her son in California

A 15 year old young man who is currently enrolled in a life saving class in California is being called a hero after he applied what he learned in the life saving course in Laguna Beach after one week of learning the tricks of the trade. Gavin was walking on the beach when he saw a mom and her 20 year old son who were caught in a rip current that was taking them away from the shore into the Pacific Ocean. Gavin then applied his life saving lessons to the test by entering the ocean and being able to get both the mom and her son away from drowning to safety on the shore. Gavin is in on record of making his save as a future beach lifeguard. I am sure when the news of his great accomplishment reaches his superiors, he will be rewarded for his bravery and saving two lives last week in Laguna Beach. Hopefully this will be the start of a great career as a lifeguard for Gavin Pike who has a bright future in this line of work.
