A kitten that was found inside of a dumpster finds a loving family

A small kitten who must have been around eight to ten weeks of age is lucky that someone who saw him or her inside the dumpster behind the Prince of Peace church in Long Island decided to contact the local SPCA chapter in Suffolk County.
The good part of this story is thanks to the publicity of the kitten who was close to freezing to death only to be rescued by the local SPCA officials who took the kitten to the animal shelter was that the kitten was adopted by a loving family who will take care of the kitten.
The officials of the SPCA want to know who is responsible for placing an innocent kitten inside a dumpster in the first place instead of taking the kitten to a local animal shelter.

That is good to know that you have a new pet. Last year around this time a young kitten was outside looking for food and he was adopted. My nephew named him Burt.

I'm so glad that the kitten was adopted. Whoever left it inside the dumpster should be put in the dumpster in the cold.

I agree with you since kittens do not deserve to be placed inside dumpsters. Taking a kitten to a local animal shelter is the right way to deal with lost kittens.

It breaks my heart to learn about cats being left inside of dumpsters in cold weather so they could pass way from the cold.
