Today was the first day of Advent, for those who are not aware Advent is the first twenty four days of December leading to Christmas it is the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas and the return of Jesus at the Second Coming. We are both celebrating his arrival as that infant babe, as well as the second coming.
Today the first Candles of Advent were lit, and we began our sermons on the season, for the kids today, I taught on Luke 1:26-38, and the older kids did really well, the other ones not so much.
Anyway I just wanted to share with you a pic of two of the most giving people in our Church lighting the Candle, Leslie never stops and her husband Gary is a laugh a minute...

Candles have to be watched that is right just in case really.
I light one in my imagination or I watch a youtube video where they have candles in and that suffices.

We don’t light them at home either, this was at Church! Candles aren’t allowed here...
