Day 119 Promise 168 Psalm 7:10 My defense is of God, which saves the upright in heart. People use defense attorneys in a court of law. They also defend one another when someone comes against them. David knew God was his defense attorney against his enemies and knew He would save him from whatever they conspired against him. As Christians, your defense attorney against Satan is Jesus. He will defend you against all the mischief he conspires against you. 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (KJV) Satan is the accuser of the brethren. When he accuses you, Jesus defends you. Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (KJV) You have nothing to fear when God is on your side. David knew it and you can know it too. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for Your Son, Jesus, who stands in the gap for me as my defense attorney.
