can you have inspirations while reading other people's discussions?

let me be clear, here i like reading other people's discussions and then i try to give responses and try to understand what they wanna say or share!
today i was reading a discussion about earnings so i discovered a new discussion so i shared it!
i think many of you had a same experience here!
of course i am against to starting a totally same discussions with others but how about similar discussions !
did you have same experince?
do you find out new discussion ideas after read others' discussions?

Nope, all my discussions are all my own. I do not like copycats and I'd never be one. Where's the pleasure in being a copycat? Yuck.

@japanesesamurai Yes, an idea can be derived from anywhere. Yet, one's own are especially borne from one's musings, experiences, observations, thoughts. What we write comes from the heart, and the whole stock of knowledge in our grey cells. We could be inspired by someone, like Shakespeare - hisTaming of the Shrew being a romantic comedy- we could write a review. But to blog about a cat because somebody wrote about a cat, that's not exciting at all.

i am not talking about a being a copycat actually!
for example ,you are reading a topic about totally different stuff and then you see or read an interesting part and it gives you an idea to start an another discussion.. that's it .. lol

Not really. Whatever thought that comes to mind, that’s what I write. I try not to write the same topics.
