My day started too early today. I had to drop my younger daughter to her school at 6 in the morning. They have started with history block and with history of our city. So today they will cover two of historical places in city and should be back anytime between 6_8 in evening. We will get a message an hour before they reach school so that parents can be on time to pick them. She was pretty excited to carry her landscape size sketch book. They are allowed to choose their favorite part of the place and sketch it. Husband has left to a different state and city for two days and will be back by tomorrow late night. He left at 4 AM and I woke up at that time. He landed safely in time and is at meeting place now. Elder one has study break today. She has her term exams going on and tomorrow is her Maths exams. So pretty much everything got over fast. I took an hour and half nap after dropping my daughter. Now I got up, got ready and had my breakfast. I made sevai upma ( vermicelli upma) in breakfast. The picture is of my breakfast. I packed that and oranges for my younger one to have it on way. They will be provided lunch and evening snacks. Since it was only 9 children and two teachers to the trip, they hired a comfortable mini bus. I have cooked some extra. Me and my elder one can have the left over for lunch too. So no more hassles of cooking I have a good one and half hour to mylot before it's time to go to work. Morning nap and yummy breakfast fills me with energy and enthusiasm. So let's start with notifications

@Hannihar I have never asked them to take it so seriously. It's just a part of life and they have to be cool about it. We never made a fuss of it as parents.

Vermicelli is made out of wheat/rice. This one is from wheat. It is like very fine and thin noodles. Sometimes I make it like noodles with all sauces and herbs. But this one is an Indian dish with Indian seasoning and veggies like onion, carrot, beans, tomato and capsicum. We have added peanuts, black gram, mustard seeds and curry leaves fro seasoning.

Wow you know I like it too. My aunt live in Chennai so when she visits at that time she made and it's just superb. Your daughter's school education system is very good compared to here as you always mention different activities which encourage children and its a great thing.

My family also loves it and I find it easy and quick to cook. Plus it is healthy and yummy. My younger daughter goes to a Waldorf School and they really have an interesting curriculum. That makes children very much interested in learning.
