Yes, Christmas music already

I always get amused when people start complaining about Christmas music being played in stores, depending on the country, from the beginning of November or the end of November/beginning of December. Because my Christmas music starts in July. I have to choose music for our Christmas programs, and then start rehearsing them in mid-October to be ready for the programs that come up very quickly as soon as the end of November hits! We had an instrumental concert (band and orchestra) last Friday, choir concert this Friday Dec. 6, and elementary Christmas program Friday Dec. 13, not to mention all the church things we have been practicing. It's quite different to be on the rehearsal end of things, because then you are actually participating in improving technique, learning notes, preparing for one time when you will be in front of people. So, bring on the Christmas music. I've already been doing it for several months, and I must admit it's nice to hear someone else doing it!
