Christmas trees
Pine scent
Christmas decorations
Each with a memory
Sparkling tinsel
Like tears flowing
Missing all the faces
The laughter around the Christmas tree
Christmas songs
So dear to the heart
Aching to hear other voices
That are now long gone
Christmas angels
Gingerbread cookies
Hanging from the Christmas tree
Echoes of Christmases past
Come out of the long ago
Strings of bright Christmas lights
Sparkling eyes full of tears
Christmas memories so dear

I feel mushy, your poem did remind me of beautiful and fun-filled Christmases of long ago. It was like those memories were of another life.

@RasmaSandra Hit right in the heart, those verses did. Except for the pine scent, we don't have pine trees in Manila.
The poem is very real and true.

I feel emotional everytime Christmas time is around the corner for I remember my late beloved parents. I could feel how they do truly express their love for me by buying me things I love most.
