Anyone catch the new show on HBO. Pretty different for them. More kid like where HBO shows are always more adult. I only watched two episodes though. Pretty good acting.
It is about parallel universes apparently. Two kid friends, one gets kidnapped and taken to the other universe through a new discovered hidden portal, how IMDB makes it sound in their description. I am not at the part yet but does appear to be that going that way.
The description I heard was parallel universes but what sold me was the animals. Everyone has a animal called Daemon's. They are like their guardian angel and try to look out for the people. They talk and everything. My question is how do kids get kidnapped if their animal friend is looking out for them?
That is easy because Daemon's are only loyal to the one they connect with. They do not care what is right or wrong, just what ever their person desires. So I imagine animals kidnap the other animals too. To me it sounds like one universe is like ours and the other is filled with magic and of course our universe wants to steal the magic. It sounds like something we would do.

Indeed, why they say watch Hollywood try to predict future and they actually pretty good at it based on just how people behave.

@jstory07 Why show is kind of neat. I watched another one and I get it. The animal is more or less your soul. If your are a snake you get a snake. If you are a warrior you get a Leapord or a Wolf allthough have not see any wolves. I am upset, just a police man with a working dog. I want a wolf. Anyway you get my point. Supposedly something about takes time so the animal can change depending how your true self eventually comes out. Then when you die the animal just disappears like it never existed. Its pretty interesting. Whats your soul animal. I already Know I am a wolf.
