When your car starts to brake.

Yesterday I had a big surprise. I took my car in for a oil change the day before and told them I heard a rubbing sound. I had been hearing this for a while though and said something the last time I was in there. So they changed my brake pads and rotors. But even after that, I still could hear the sound.
Now this is not a new car by no means, it is a 2005 and I know parts wear out. I knew I had to take it in when it really started acting up the other day. What they found out was my motor mounts was wore all the way into and my motor was jumping up. So they told me to come back yesterday morning to fix it.
Although it's fixed, I know I am going to need new spark plugs to, which is not just a simple task anymore. I think they make cars anymore were you have to take it to the shop. After all this, I know I need to face it, before long I'm going to have to get something else.

Vehicles use to be built to last, for many years. Now, they are made cheaply and for a new one, the price has soared! They break often, to make us purchase another one. And the next vehicle will do the same thing!

your so right about that. I find that any more, about the time a person pays it off, they start messing up.

@sweetashoney And very few can buy a new vehicle. Most of us drive a used one, that's what we can afford.

I guess thats why I really can't complain to much, other then that, I really haven't had any reall big issues with it. Is this the first time you've had to change the brake pads, if it is, that's really good.

@sweetashoney It's a stick, so I often use my gears to slow down. But at 235,000 miles, it's time to change the brake pads.

I hope your car just needs a few tweaks to stay functional and healthy

Hopefully it will a least last until my son comes next summer. He's talking about getting him another one and just letting me have his and finish paying it off. That would be fine with me, I really don't want a brand new car and have all them payments.
