Holiday: It brings forward how age is taking it's tole, how we can't handle what use to be ordinary. Shows us we don't have money anymore and are not able to just go out and get another job. Shows us how few relatives we have left and those who like you live far away. Reminds me I can't hire anyone to help with the house and yard stuff so I work at it until I run out of steam and do that every day till it gets done.. And if not done I find I am more able to look away and ignore it than I use to be. No wonder I don't see it as a 'holiday'. lol.. Hope YOU are having a good 'season'!
