So thankful that I slept well last night. I slept so well that I woke up a little before 9 a.m., and while I was still in bed the phone rang, reminding me of my appointment that I had today at 9:30! So I "jumped" out of bed, got dressed, bit off half a granola bar for breakfast, and grabbed my phone to call a Lyft. Of course, I didn't actually get to see my doctor for about an hour after my appointment actually was scheduled, but I got some reading done on my Bible app on my phone while I was waiting. We talked about my "being sick" a day or so ago, and she said there was a stomach bug going around, though when I mentioned how I threw up a lot when I was a kid and had my brain tumor, she ordered a blood test. Like I said to her, 38 years seems like a long time for a brain tumor to resurface, but better safe than sorry, I guess. So I had the blood test, took a bus home, stopped at the store to get some applesauce, which is one of the things the doctor said yesterday that I should be eating so as not to upset my stomach, and came home. When I got home I walked Angel, who didn't get her morning walk, and now I'm here. Half the day is "shot" of course, but maybe I can get a couple of things done before this evening.
