Led by K.L.Rahul's quick knock of Lokesh Rahul of 62 of 40 balls at the top and then a great 94 of 50 by captain Virat Kohli, who hit 6 fours and 6 sixes, India won the first T 20 in the ongoing series with West Indies at Hyderabad, India by 6 wickets. India scored 209 runs in 18.4 overs, i.e with 8 balls left. India lost 4 wickets in all. Earlier, West Indies' players, who are no pushovers in T 20 put up a big 207 runs total in 20 overs. Star players were Evin Lewis who scored 40 runs in 17 balls, Shimron Hetmyer who scored 56 in 41 balls, Kieron Pollard (c) made 37 of 19 and Jason Holder put up a rapid 24 of 9 balls. The total was however, not enough. But this series promises to be a real entertainer, and I believe West Indies would come harder in the next match.

West Indies play all format of game like this so they are more stronger as shorter format. Rahul was superb and he has same capacity as rohit to play big inning without lose power till end of the inning.

@birjudanak Indian team is ready for different challenges. But somehow I feel that Rishabh Pant is already under immense pressure. He should be given time, and not dealt with too harshly.

@birjudanak Let us see how he evolves. For the time being, I think even if he is ousted from the team, he can play in Indian First class cricket- Ranji Trophy etc. and IPL as well, where he can perfect on his flaws.

@birjudanak So may be some time in IPL and domestic cricket might be good for him. Yet we are not sure if Sanju Samson is also fit for the role. Or perhaps, give some more time to Dhoni to play in T 20s or ODIs and then let him retire.

@NoorNoor Well, I like ODIs but some T 20s and tests are exciting too.

@DianneN I actually followed this game. I did not watch the match. This was a game of Twenty 20. That means each cricket team can play a maximum of 20 overs. West Indies made 207 runs in 20 over, which India overcame.

This game will be remembered more due to Kohli's giving it back to Williams
