Winter. The one where it smells like tea sweetened with honey. Full of socks softness and plaid warmth. Pampering us with long evenings. With a bit of nostalgic sadness. Longing. Inspirations. It is full of opportunities to live a little slower. Inviting to come home.
To dive and tame the cold. And hug a bowl of warming soup.

I live in Israel. Actually I live in Jerusalem. In Jerusalem we have rain and in January and February it gets cold. Sometimes we get snow. We need rain in winter.

That is a beautiful photo. I do love the winter. I think it is a beautiful time, and especially when the snow falls. The snow falls and everything is quiet and beautiful.

In childhood, we had very deep and snowy winters, that image is still staying in my memory. Now it is a bit different, if snow, it stays only for a short time and melting quickly.

@lillywriter We had a snowfall last year and the snow stayed for a long while, it is not normal for us to have this in my area of the US.
