People often talk about the importance of practice of their skills so when an emergency comes up, all of the time getting the act right when the time comes pays off. This past Wednesday, a distress call from someone in the Fort Myers beach area to the United States Coast Guard who were in the Atlantic Ocean in a practice session to rescue persons who were in the water encountered a young female pup who for some strange reason was swimming in the ocean. The good news is that the female puppy was seen by the crew of the Coast Guard who managed to save the dog from drowning in the ocean. The female dog was then reunited with her owner who is very grateful to have the dog back home where she belongs. The question that is bothering me is, what was that dog doing swimming in the ocean off of Fort Myers?

@Deepizzaguy I am so glad they saved the pup. It turned out to be a happy ending with the dog being reunited with her owner. That is a good question. I wonder what the answer is.

I would like to know myself since it is rare for a dog to wander into the ocean.

@Deepizzaguy Is there a way to find out why the dog wandered into the ocean?

I have no idea why the dog went swimming in the ocean other than chasing a ball.

It could have happened that way since what really happened is a mystery.

That is what I am wondering why a dog would go swimming into the ocean in Florida.
