I am feeling horrible.. Endometriosis and premenopausal issues are real pain at times. I took a break from my regular work last year due to my bad bad endometriosis. I was on a steroid treatment for almost 18 months and that helped a lot. I was advised to stop it and I stopped it in September. Things were okay for two-three months. But since last night I am in pain and feeling too weak to get up. My husband is working from home to help me with things. The other two parents have offered to take care of pick up and drop till I feel better. I have called my doctor and taken medicine. I should feel a little better with these medicine. Have called my work place and taken a day off. I hope I feel better by tomorrow. I will try to take a nap if I can. I had troubled sleep throughout night with all pain Hope everyone is doing good. Have a great week ahead!

It's a very painful periods with internal bleeding that might lead to over bleeding, pain and tumors. I got a bad case of that in last few years.

This is the main problem of taking steroids. They are effective only until they are taken. And their use is always harmful. I wish you a speedy recovery. Please consult your gynaecologist immediately

Sometimes steroids are the only life savers. I had this life threatening condition few years back and only steroids could save me and it did. I chose it over other harsh treatments. My gyanec is an old man in his seventies and it's only his expertise and faith in less medicine treatment that could heal me in right way.

Yes. It has a tendency to reoccur. I think menopause is the only way to end it.

I am much better today. Steroids have their side effects but in some conditions they are the only life savers. I hope to be back to life soon... At least going back to work tomorrow.

@garymarsh6 I have got a very good and competent doctor. We had a long discussion and we took a decision seeing all the pros and cons of each treatment and what will suit me. I have some other medical history that needs to be accounted for any treatment.

Actually the permanent solution to the issue is natural menopause or a complete hysterectomy and ovariectomy. Else managing with on and off steroids and painkillers.
