It’s been awhile since I’ve taken the time to recommend a book here, so I’m doing that now, this is a Biography that talks about the effect that Jane Austen infamous character Darcy has had an effect that reverberates to this day. This book talks about how even Dracula was loosely inspired by Darcy, as well as more modern day things, it tells of a Mormon Darcy, a Digital Darcy, a Gay Darcy and begs the question how a clergyman’s daughter from Hampshire was able to create such a timeless character.
