If there is one person who earned his keep by simply enjoying hitting balls at the billiards, that's Filipino Efren Reyes.
Dubbed the magician for demonstrating incredible shots, Efren Reyes bested the world's top notch, bar none, with one maxim to live by - "A win it must, because the Filipinos are expecting me to win."
Performance-wise, none comes close to this most unassuming man, humble and coy. Through the years, after brief but genuine expressions of jubilation for nailing the titles and the pot money, Efren Reyes mutters words of gratitude to those who made it possible for him to play an excellent game.
The videos of the greatest shots of this quiet but very passionate pool player keep popping on my watch list, and I have the most fun watching a human protractor at work.

According to Efren Reyes, he can do the same with poker. Given his cards, he can tell the cards his opponents have. Imagine if this guy is poker champ. Whoaa. I like pool better.
