Are these people great or not?

Or, well, in my case, great great and great great great? I'm talking about the possibility that this picture (sorry, yes I know I took a picture of a picture. Don't ask me why I placed it on a paper towel) is of my family. We aren't actually sure. I think I shared this picture here awhile back and told you it WAS my family, but well we aren't so sure. The Abraham Lincoln looking fellow on the top left does have some resemblance to the family. This was found in a bible of my 3rd cousin's family, which we'd share a common grandfather. The bible would have belonged to her grandfather, which would have been my great great great. She doesn't know who these people are either, but I'm guessing she'd recognize her own grandfather. Do you like old photographs?

I hope you discover who they are, if you want to find them. As for me, my interest goes back to my grandfather although I have pictures of my direct ancestors and all the direct genealogy.

I do not believe we will ever know. Someone suggested posting this on ancestry forums, and I might, but I believe anyone who would be able to identify them are deceased. We have some more pictures, but I wish we had a lot more.

I have a few old B/W photographs and enjoy looking at them once in a while.

B/W are my absolute favorite. I like tintype as well. We had a sepia toned picture of my great grandmother in her school days.. Well, maybe not sepia toned as you could see the green of her jacket. I wish we still had it, but it was given to my great aunt.

That is interesting, I have an old album of my mom's and I don't know who most of the people are. I have such old photo like one of my grandparents with my mom as a baby and that was in the early 1900s.

I do not think I ever will, but instead I will just say that they are related to me. One looks similar to my great grandfather, it isn't him though.

I love old photographs. It's why I read Ransom Riggs books. Maybe post something on an ancestry website.
