Parental Venting Is Ok

Earlier, I was on Facebook and someone was venting about their struggles in parenting. Anyone who is a parent can relate, no parent is perfect but we do our best if we love our children.
We also sometimes NEED to get things off our chests to keep our sanity.
Strangely, there was a stunning amount of people actually ATTACKING the woman for her post.
I personally am glad she vented instead of keeping things bottled up until she wound up in a psych ward somewhere.

Pardon me for this comment but I wonder why people have to post their rant in social media. Is that a good way to release stress? I don't think social media is a nice outlet for bad things. Where is the best friend?

@Alexandoy sometimes it can be a relief to share and get advice from people who have "walked a mile in your shoes" (meaning been in a similar situation as each other) and I think the internet is a good place for that in the modern age to some extent.
Online support groups and such have helped a lot of people.
With that said, being wise about it goes a long way.
I don't think people should spill a ton of personal things online,
there is a such thing as oversharing.

@jnrdutton I know that it's a debatable issue. What I'm talking about are my friends and not really other people since I don't know where they are coming from. With my friends, they brag about their best friends and they even call them lovingly as "Best" to mean best friend. So why post a rant, where is your best?

So many people find it necessary to attack someone when they post their feelings. I don't get it.
