They are such a relaxing way to travel the water around you.
Anyone else a canoe buff?
This picture was taken near the Wisconsin River (if you know my dad's pictures and my grandfather's pictures the Wisconsin River is often featured!)

I have never used a canoe but I have a flat bottom metal boat, I have it but it leaks.
Yes we would often take it to the water shed where no motors are allowed and paddle all over fishing.
I need to find me a fishing partner for those lakes, I love it.

oddly no. 've been'n many boats o'er the years (my dad 'twas'n avid fisherman), but not a canoe. yes sir, love 'em. need to get 'em scanned to the puter one day.

@DocAndersen yes sir. my momma's a puter she ne'er uses (aunt badgered her 'til she got one) 'n i made a flash drive 'f some 'f the great-grands. she can now thumb through those pics without the weight 'f a photo album. i'm hopin' to get the rest done this winter?

I’m going through old pictured to scan them for my cousin.
I’d like to try canoeing, but my shoulders won’t allow that anymore.

I grew up canoeing as well, and was out on the water as much as I could possibly be. Sometimes fishing, sometimes exploring, sometimes just relaxing. The canoe turned into a jon boat, which turned into a 15-ft outboard, which turned into a 20-ft inboard. Don't have any boats anymore, as I live inland, but I do have kayaks now, and my son and I like to go kayaking as much as possible. Such fun times.
