My daughter and I were going on vacation to Florida seven years ago and my mom kept saying that we were making a mistake because it's very humid down there and were going to hate it there. We got there, Kissimmee in central Florida and it was beautiful. We took a cab from the train station to Disney World. Checked in went to our room and unpacked. The both of us took showers, we were on a train for 19 hours! Opened the door to go to the buses to the restaurant for dinner and it was raining! But it was a warm rain. And it stopped in about 10 minutes. Talked to people and it had only been raining for about 20 minutes total. We were there all week and got nice breezes from the waters and it didn't rain the rest of the week and about 94 degrees!. Everyday I called my mom and she said it was still 103 degrees there, like it was when we left. My cousin says he does not like it in Florida, because it rains there EVERYDAY! Huh? It is now 45 degrees here in northern Virginia and still very cloudy and off and on raining. But the humidity is 100% and in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (Disneyworld) it's 72 degrees and 63% humidity. Hmmmm, wonder where I want to be?
