We got the ferrets a new water dish one that is heavier so it’s harder for them to move and get well you know ferret poop and litter all up in it. At least the only thing they can do is put kibble in the water. They are elevated bowls one is a little deeper then the other which is the water dish.
Look at them all swarm the bowls like we never feed and give them water. Ferrets are such drama queens some times.

Do ferrets use something like a litter box to go to the bathroom? Glad they got a new water dish.

@Hannihar they learn over time. If you keep a litter box clean and in the same spot ferrets will use it other wise then will jsur find like a said a spot and they will continue to use that same spot. To deter them we have a lot of sleeping and toy spots that keep them for wanting to go in those other places. They don’t like pee and poop where they sleep and eat

I do not know much about ferrets so do not know if they just go to a litter box or if you put them in it like cats. Cats know about litter boxes and use them.

Whoa look at the claws on that one! I didn't realize ferrets had claws that long! Or does it just look worse in the photo than it really is?

Casper needs his claws tripped. His vains are close to his nails so we can only trim his without hurting him. All of them can get like Raptor claws on their paws.

@ShyBear88 Are they gentle with them claws, or do they go for the jugular when they get near you?

@moffittjc lol they only claw when scared and not they don’t go for the throat. Not saying they sit like meat because they do. I only get scratched when one wants to climb up my arm and I don’t have sleeves on.
