Results of my academic appointment today

After my appointment today I am very pleased to say that it has been confirmed that I only need to complete 9 more units. I have chosen to do A classics course, placement A and Placement B. Upon successful completion of the courses I will be able to apply to graduate. It is exciting to know that graduation is within reach but I will also be working with researchers.

Congrats!! Would want to know what are those '9 more units' , I am familiar to those acronyms perhaps in your education system.

Units are the numerical value the course contributes to your degree. I need to do a total 72 units but was unfortunately off by 9 :( Generally a course is worth 3 units. To get 9 more units I will be doing Placement A (hopefully in forensics) it is worth 3 units along with Placement B and my classics course that is a language for scientists course.
