Haven't been able to get onto MyLot recently due to Christmas, family, etc etc but finally got the opportunity to go through my photos. Hadn't realised just how long I'd been away until I saw the date on my oldest photo.
Couldn't resist this beautiful golden oak with the bronzy bushes just in front of it. So glad I took it when I did as the weather turned wet and miserable for the next couple of weeks or so.

Both my partner Adam and I had been brought up in the country but because we live in a National Park area we never thought we'd be able to afford a country property. However, having spent 10 years living in the city which we hated, we noticed this house up for sale just a stone's throw from where I was born. It needed quite a lot of working doing to it but we just knew it'd be our 'forever home'. We've been here now 21 years and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
