One lady on the internet got the surprise of her life when she made an ATM withdrawal!! Her receipt said she had 37,000,000 dollars in her account!!! That's 6 zeros!!! And when she reported this the next day, the clerk said it was a clerical error!! WoW!! What an error!! She feels she should get a reward!!! Do you agree?!! Shouldn't she be rewarded for her honesty?!

That happened to my bank account before the ATM era. My bankbook had an excess of 32,000 pesos which is big money during that time. I was scared so I immediately reported it to the bank.

Banks have a lot of errors nowadays. That's why we need more honest people in the world to correct those mistakes.

It would have been nice to give her a reward, but it wasn't like finding a bag of $37 million dollars on the street. She couldn't have gotten away with spending any of the bank's "mistake."

Well it’s an error. I have known someone who had the same thing, he check his account and had a lot on his account. What he did, he withdrawn some of them, he was afraid that the bank might know about it. He tried to withdraw some. But the bank did not notice it. I’m not sure if he got lucky or what.

Yes she is because if I was her I withdrew it all and flown out of the country. Hahaha! Just kidding. I know I cannot do that because the machines have maximum withdrawals per day.
I remember the times I was buying mobile top ups from my bank account thru the app, it happened many times that when I buy 30 I receive 300 credits. I didn't waste time to report as I am busy it's their fault anyway.
But when I shop online for other things I report either damage or wrong items. One time I receive wrong kitchenwares that is more expensive than my order, I reported it and told them I'll just keep it and asked how would I pay I need reference/invoice number for the difference, they told me I could keep the item if I want it without paying additional as it is their fault anyway. So, I was happy. I hope they deliver more wrong items as long as better than my orders, not damaged. I would resell them with good profit. Kidding.
I hope the bank told her too that "you can keep it as it is our error anyway."
