Nat King Cole was born in 1919 and was an American jazz pianist, singer and actor. He had over 100 hits on the pop charts. His genres were jazz, swing, blues and traditional pop. He is the father of Natalie Cole. He died in 1965 at the age of 45 from lung cancer...he was a heavy smoker.
