For the first time, we are permitted to listen to a private conversation - that of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. The tete a tete started as some sort of soul searching for both, each wanting to resign from their positions. Then the expressions from the heart became a confession, for the men of God are but humans, with human frailty and grievous errors. Glad to know the Holy See has become transparent, and that the reality of the grim situations of the world and the Catholic Church are being attended to. Please watch this very intelligent discourse of two Popes on netflix. An awakening for us, too. There's comic relief to such an intense verbal exchange - the World Cup - Germany versus Argentina.
