Treated Myself to Pie

Some days you just gotta do it. Treat yourself. So I had a piece of coconut creme pie. Not a big fan of coconut but I love this pie. No, it is not homemade, although I have made it homemade many times.
This was another Marie Callender's buy one, get one free specials at Kroger. Hard to pass up those deals.
The pie went great with my coffee. I sat outside in the screen room with the cats. Watched the birds.
The sun is trying to shine today. We will see what happens. So far, a pretty good day. And you?

I have a recipe that's really old from my late aunt for a coconut pie, but not the cream kind. I make it every once in a while. That one you had sounds delish!

I’m glad you are having such a wonderful day so far and hope it continues. Even though I’m not a sweet eater, that pie looks delicious!
My hubs had our butcher cut two standing rib roasts. I will have to save them for when everyone comes down. Way too much for two people to eat! Date night tonight!

I know they do not. They will get sick. I have to try and keep so much away from Sophie because she does not let me take care of her. It is too expensive to have the vet come all the time so I have to watch her. For example it is raining outside and I cannot let her go on the porch. I know winter is very hard for her because she loves to go out there.

glad ya 'njoyed that pie, hon. i aint a fan 'f coconut myself 'nless 'tis raw 'n fresh.
we'd sunshine yesterday, with high winds. thankfully today's calm. the 'nly movement 'f branches bein' from the birds 'n e'ery now'n then a feral cat.
