I can see Colors Now / myLot

I have been missing here lately. I had cataract surgery in one eye. I am amazed by how bright colors are now. I have been seeing the world through a grimy dull haze. Now blues are blue, not a hazy gray and white is white, not a dull yellow. I wish i could get similar surgery for my life and see beauty where there is despair and possibilities where there is no hope. But at least I see colors now.

It is so amazing. I thought my fan was yellow. I discovered it is white. Nothing is the same color as I thought it was.

so glad ya got'cher vision cleared'n that one eye, hon. hope ya didn't go through what my sweet momma did, bless her. she called me cryin', said she didn't know her house 'twas so dirty! she cleaned, but couldn't see what she'd missed. bein' able to see 'tis a good startin' point. the rest's a change 'f attitude. find small thingies that bring ya joy 'n delight'n build 'pon that. a re-trainin' 'f the brain.

I am seeing dirt that I did not know was there. Lots of cleaning in my future. I can't bend or lift for the next couple of weeks but I know where to start.

@akalinus First of all , tons of thanks for sharing this great post.I feel there is something positive in every negativity.I have experienced despair and hopelessness in my life and I heartily feel even they have something unique and beautiful in them.However if you ask me to explain,I would fail to do so.It's just what I feel and elaborating it in English might be very difficult for me ,if not impossible.

@akalinus I'm trying to explain what I meant.Please excuse me if I fail to do so. Everything has a positive and negative aspect.Every despair has seeds of hope .Every negative has a positive in it. That's what I meant.Please don't ask me to elaborate it more,because my knowledge of English is not perfect.

Yes, I have waited a long time. They kept putting it off for different reasons. There was always some emergency and my surgery was postponed another month.
