Not guilty! My husband suggested that I bring this song to you today. It's a fun song recorded in 1953 by Gayla Peevey. She has quite a voice for a young lady of 10. If you watch until the end, you'll see her at age 73 in 2016 singing it again! Hope you enjoy "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas": You won't be able to get this tune out of your head! JJBWorks presents Gayla Peevey at age 10 in 1953 and again at age 73 in 2016 singing the Christmas Hippo song.

@TheHorse I love them all. One of those little teeny ones is really cute...like a burrowing owl.

Yeah, but the song never explains how you wrap a hippopotamus! See, that’s a fun song. Why don’t we hear that anymore in addition to the same 17 songs over and over and over and over??

You wrap him VERY carefully! I'd be glad to post another fun song for you tomorrow!
