Losing It at Christmas Time

How would it be? If it wouldn’t snow but rain in the wintertime? How would it be - if it wouldn’t rain but snow in the springtime? Of course, then nothing would grow. How would it be - if love made you dizzy and giddy all the time? How would it be - if things turned upside down and we took a look at the world wrong side up? How would it be - if we always wore silly grins and ignored the world about us? How would it be - if there were no more tears, just smiles and laughter through the years? How would it be - if we just let go of reality and sailed away dreaming on clouds? How would it be – if that jolly, fat man in a red suit, joined us for a glass of eggnog?. How would it be – to see eight tiny reindeer, flying through the sky? Perhaps it would be a delight, to go dancing among slivery snowflakes, on Christmas night. Perhaps this world - would be easier to live in, if we were less attached to the world at large. Making love a priority, making happiness a necessity, making the world more our playground. Maybe losing it - is not so bad, just a tad letting go of all the seriousness. Let’s find more time, to be free as birds on the wing, as free as the breeze blowing through the trees, Let’s do some serious, rocking round our Christmas tree. with glad smiles and full of holiday glee. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas! And now for your listening pleasure Da Yopper and The Rusty Chevrolet Song about the car that was held together with chicken wire, The music just makes you really want to bounce around that tree. Hey. If I try it this year it should really bring me back to my senses since in my little apartment one round about the Christmas tree will bring me smack dab into my wall. Doesn’t this just want to make you laugh and sing
