Christmas in Action: Working Together

True spirit of Christmas is manifested by our humble family within the four corners of our home. The more people working together as a team, the work becomes easy. Our youngest and my junior planned to give a reward to those who would clean the house, make it tidy and make it presentable and ready for the Christmas Day. He had prepared a list of our family members who are going to be involved in this clean up drive in the house. There were 17 persons in the rooster and I was included there. The challenge started two days before Christmas Day. Early in the of 24th of December there seemed to be no improvement or any of those in the list didn't keep themselves busy except my wife who slept early morning of the following day after partially did the house upkeep. Junior's reminder flooded their messenger apps that if nobody will do their task their rewards would be forfeited. As I arrived in the house after I took 30-minute walk around the city I was shocked upon seeing 5 persons were preoccupied working their respective tasks like sweeping the floor, putting trashes to plastic bag, dusting the wall, table and set of furniture. By a couple of hours, the job was done. The humble Christmas tree was put up complete of Christmas decors and lights. They have realized that the true spirit of Christmas is the happiness they feel within themselves of working and serving each other as a family. And that happiness is best celebrated during Christmas day in a family thanksgiving. The more they get together, the happier they are.
