What I Love About My Work #1

There is almost zero overtime. I used to work in accounting department and I don't have a life. I can't even attend to watch my hubby play in basketball league. But now, in my new job, I can enjoy the holidays. When clock hits 5pm, we can run out and call it a day except for rare occasions when there is something important that needs to get done. Time is important to me, life can't be all about work. So this is one thing I'm grateful for.

Yes, it was a level up from my previous one. I am looking forward to level up again, that is in terms of the quality of life I get. But it will take a while.

"Life can't be all about work", yes! I prefer to be unemployed to explore new things then almost all relatives hated me for that. "I don't have a life" too when I was working as an Executive Assistant. I enjoyed more when I was a Telephone Operator - no overtime, less pressure. I really missed working as a Telephone Operator even the salary is small. Life is not all about money too!

@JustBhem To be honest, I lost all motivation LOL. But I dont think other jobs would be any different. The grass can be browner on the other side.

This is the same job I've been complaining about. I cannot leave so I'm trying to change my perspective by looking on the positive side of it. My job before this is even worse.

Is this a new job? Did you finally resign from your old job?

Actually, this is just an effort to help me see the things I like about my job. I don't want to move to the city yet because my daughter is still studying here in our province. This is the same job.
