Most of us have felt lonely at times.. We can do many things that help. I like to learn from the Bible characters - King David was an example and like him we could find some elder - or younger, that we can learn to know and can be a good friend.. I read a great article, that you also might like:
Loneliness affects everyone at times. That includes people who seem to have lots of friends. Consider steps you can take to avoid feeling left out and lonely.

Most of us can feel lonely, but we can talk to our Creator - he knows us best, and he can help us to find ways to find true happiness..

@sharon6345 Iam sometimes not sure if I feel "lonely" in this moment. I try to be "productive" in my down time, but I'm still glad if the phone rings.

@buenavida I feel the "presence of God" the most when I'm working with disadvantaged children and making progress.

I have wrapped up myself in my writing and I am not lonely. When I take breaks I read or color and in the evenings when work is done I watch my favorite series or movies. Time seems to just fly. The only problem is that sometimes I get so wrapped up in all of this that for instance I learned about another writing site today and of course, I applied and then realized I had no idea what to really do on the site. So that will take up some of my time also and people do say they pay.

It con be good to be busy with interesting things..This scripture is interesting.. “All the days of the afflicted one are bad, but the one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast.”—Proverbs 15:15.

I think loneliness only haunts those who cant enjoy their own company. I'm an introvert and love being by myself, but I do know where to find people if I need some human interaction.

That is great - we all need to think positive thoughts..good to plan whom we can contact if we need them, and if they need us!

Good to do both, especially when talking positive things, and walking to someone who needs encouraging and make that person happy..
