Walk signs are 'sexist' .

I came across a stink on Facebook about how they wanted to change a walk sign (the red or green flashy thingy on a traffic light) to a woman. People were saying that it is a man because of men that are mysogynists. I couldn't help but laugh because what they don't know is it is actually "queer propaganda" that street light you thought was a man is actually a woman in cross dress. Our street lights are making children are come as all manner of genders. Even our streetlights are confused. In all honesty though. How DARE they assume the street lights gender.

as long as the walk sign WORKS I don't care what the character on it looks like, I just want to get across the street safely.

Things are getting stupider by the minute. It is really ridiculous. Stop being offended by every little thing.

@Fa_Maverick iI was talking to the public in general. People are finding offense over silly things that do not really matter. PC is getting to be ridiculous. Where does it stop?

Who are you talking to? Me or the greater public? Personally I laughed at the entire situation. I agree that people arguing over a street light is ridiculous and people need to take a step back and think for a moment before they open their rather large PC mouths. All for calling people what they want to be called but leave the street signs alone honestly.

It was actually a thing. In Sydney Australia I think. They wanted to change the street lights to something else because the streetlight is 'sexist'
