My one 9 year old granddaughter got a slight fever a few days before Christmas. Then on Christmas eve the 3 year old granddaughter got sick because she drank milk but was getting this fever. So Christmas day they did not go to my mom's house or get their presents from here. A few days after Christmas they seemed to be getting better the fevers had gone, but while they were at my mom's they started feeling a bit more cranky and their mother took them to the Urgent Care and the 3 year old has a double ear infection and the older girl has an upper respitory infection! So far the 20 month old baby does not have any symptoms of anything! The assistant manager here at the apartments that I live in told me that he had a fever Christmas eve and Christmas day. They said on the news that is is a virus that is going around with just the fevers. The day after Christmas my mom had the fever too and it was gone in about 12 hours.

I had a viral infection that started at the end of November and lasted 4 weeks. I was feeling better for Christmas but not 100%. I hope your family have now recovered as it's miserable when they are all ill at the same time.

@dfollin Yes I am much better now thank you. So many people seem to get sick at Christmas. It's the one time we all want to be well.

I am glad that you all are feeling better and I have just had a lot of long term headache's and migraine's. I am afraid to eat anything that is milk based because of starting to get sick like the other people.

@dfollin Are you lactose intolerant? There are cures for that. Sorry about your headaches.

I'm sorry to hear that they weren't feeling well. It's never fun getting sick, especially around the holidays. I hope they feel better soon.
